India will receive US $52 million to completely phase out the production and consumption of toxic chemical carbon tetrachloride (CCT). The announcement was made by the executive committee of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol at the end of its 40th meeting held in Montreal recently.
