To clean up the Yamuna in Delhi and develop its banks on the lines of the holy city of Haridwar, the Union Minister of State, Vijay Goel, will launch a special initiative to beautify the religious Jamana Ghat and Qudesia Ghat on the river banks. Under the project, a spacious bathing area will be designed for pilgrims where clean water will be made available. Delhi Jal Board will ensure a continuous supply of fresh water for bating and treated water in the changing rooms.
