The Capital will wear a look of the millennium next year if a proposal by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to develop four "millennium parks" is approved by the Union Ministry of Urban Development. A similar proposal by the Delhi Development Authority for setting up a millennium park has already been given the green signal.The MCD has handed over 80 acres along Ring Road to the DDA for development as a green belt.
