The Forest Department has worked out a new strategy to combat forest fires in the district, which is replate with forests, during the current summer season. Disclosing this here yesterday Mr Mohander Pal, conservator of forests, Chamba circle, said under the strategy fire-prone belts had been identified considering the past fire incidents.
