The convention of NGOs in environmental education of Northeast India was held at Galaghat Amateur Theatre Hall premises recently under aegies of the Society for Environment Education, North east (SEENE) with a two-day programme. The programme included, registration of the participants, welcome address, talk on prevention against drugs and AIDS, talk on the subject 'ecological balance,' discussion and formation of co-ordination committee, and talk on Bisophere Reserve etc.
