Various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other voluntary organisations in Himachal Pradesh, where more than 80 per cent of the population is engaged in the agricultural sector, feels there is a big gap in dissemination and transfer of knowledge and technology to the people at the grassroot level.
