NHAI to plant 50,000 saplings for felled trees

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will be planting 50,000 saplings as part of a compensatory forestation programme for the trees it had cut along the National Highway No 8 while building Expressway last year. According to NHAI records, as many as 4,650 trees were felld.
