The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation(NHPC), which has been contributing to the development of Chamba valley of Himachal Pradesh, has come to the rescue of people of the area by gifting them with a Rs 2.25 crore hospital building and by replacing the 100 year old Shitla bridge the only entry point to Chamba city with a new Rs 3 crore double lane concrete bridge.
