The Government on Thursday denied in Parliament reports that an adulteration racket in petrol, diesel or mobile oil was flourishing in the Capital. No cases of adulteration of petrol, diesel or mobile oil have been detected by oil companies which are in regular touch with the State Government to check adulteration, the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply. He said since December 31 only pre-mixed fuel was being dispensed to two stroke engine vehicles in the Capital according to the Supreme Court's directive.
