The first three units of the Teesta Canal Falls (TCF) hydro-electric project in North Bengal, commissioned a year ago, has failed to generate electricity so far. TCF is to comprise on completion, nine units, each of 7.5 MW. Thus, its ultimate capacity will be 67.5 MW.
