The Supreme Court today declined to grant any concession to the hawkers and part-time shopkeepers from carrying business during the period of Ramzan and Dasehra in Chandni Chowk area, which has been declared a non-hawking zone. A Bench comprising Justice B P Singh and Justice S H Kapadia dismissed the application seeking modification of the apex court order by which the stretch from Jain Mandir to Fethepuri has been declared as a non-hawking zone.
