Pakistan Indus Basin Water Commission (PIWC) and Indian Indus Basin Water Commission (IIWC) could not make any progress in their meeting on the second day. The PIWC Commissioner Jamaat Ali Shah disclosed this to journalists after eight-hour long meeting between the commissions of the two sides here on Sunday. Jamaat Ali Shah represented the PIWC, while Oranga Nathan led the IIWC. Jamaat Ali said that they had raised six objections on the construction of Indian project of Kishan Gnaga Hydro Power Plant, while two more questions in this regard would be put in the Monday's (tomorrow) meeting. And if no progress could be made in the tomorrow meeting, he said, a time frame would be set to settle this issue. While, Oranga Nathan told reporters that meeting discussed the legal and technical aspects of the project, adding they wanted a negotiated solution to the problem.
