No loan, but 24X7 water may be reality in 4 months

There's still some hope on the water front for Delhiites. Water reforms, including the much-delayed 24x7 project, will come your way in swadeshi style in the next four months. After withdrawing its request for a World Bank loan to fund the project, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has worked out a swadeshi do-it-yourself model, which will involve its own engineers and other employees. At present, a panel of five experts, including finance, drainage and administrative experts, will examine the model and make recommendations.
