Following the action taken by the Noida Authority against unauthorised cellphone towers in the area, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided that no such towers in the Capital will be sealed for the time being. The civic agency has also directed all operators who have installed unauthorised towers to apply for regularisation within a month. In case of non-compliance, the unauthorised towers will be dismantled by the corporation. The agency has also set Rs 5 lakh as fee for regularisation of unauthorised towers as well as for setting up new towers. The decision is a part of the agency
