Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa ruled out the possibility of pumping the dead storage, that is around three tmcft, from the Kandaleru reservoir in Andhra Pradesh to the Chennai city. She said the city would get water only at the end of June after the dams in Andhra Pradesh received enough water from South-East monsoon.
