The Himalayan Ski village project being set up in Kullu valley by auto giant Henry Ford's great-grandson Alfred Ford, will finally get the cabinet nod. It faced virulent opposition from the BJP, which has called it a sellout. The first foreign direct investment in Kullu, the $300 million project was earlier cleared by the State Infrastructure Development Board, headed by chief secretary SS Parmar last month. The Cabinet meet is likely to clear the draft for inking the implementation of the agreement with the US-based company, which has been asked to prepare its detailed project report within six months.
