Before we have been able to countermand the effects of excessive arsenic in the tubewell water, a new problem has arisen; not only are some people in parts of the country consuming arsenic contaminated water but they have also been consuming a number of toxic chemicals. In countries where the people are overburderned with all the issues relating to survival, good drinking water and its easy availability is at the top of their list of priorities, therefore jurisdiction over watercourses which run through different territories are the cause of frequent disputes.
