A novel method for tiger conservation has been developed by the Centre for Cellular Microbiology, Hyderabad, according to Dudwa Tiger Reserve field director Rupak De. He said the CCMB has developed a "non-invasive" method for assessing the genetic diversity within and between populations. The methodology was developed by CCMB in a record time of two weeks, he added.
