Novel trend in wildlife conservation

New avenues have been opened up in the direction of trans boundary cooperation between Nepal and India for what officials said "sustainable and long-term" bio-diversity conservation in the new millennium. At a press conference held to highlight the outcome of the Second Transboundary Consultative Meeting held in New Delhi, Director General of Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC), Dr. Tirtha Man Maskey, said that the officials have agreed from both countries have agreed to go ahead with active trans-boundary cooperation and coordination efforts for the conservation of endangered flora and fauna.
