PANJIM: Occupational Health Day is commemorated every year on July 9. Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers, Govt of Goa in association with Green Triangle Society an NGO dedicated towards promotion of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment and Rotary Club of Panjim, will celebrate Occupational Health Day by organizing a Seminar on Wednesday, July 9 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm at Conference Hall, Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers. Seminar will be conducted on theme related topic "Basic Occupational Health Services - Vision 2020 Bridging Gaps between Reality & Expectations' Jose Phillip D'Souza, Minister, Factories & Boilers has consented to be the Chief Guest for the program and V K Jha, Secretary (Factories & Boilers) will be the guest of Honour. The lecture will be delivered by Lyn Rowley, Global Safety Manager, Syngenta AG, Basle, Switzerland, on the topic "Operational Safety & Health'. S K Saxena, Director General, DGFASLI, Ministry of Labour, GOI and Dr G V Prabhu, Dy General Manager (Medical), Goa Shipyard Ltd will speak on the theme.
