SIAM: The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers(SIAM) has reinforced the need on part of the Union Government to ensure that fuel quality is improved, specially as far as diesel was concerned.SIAm has recommended that diesel sold in the National Capital Region (NCR) be of the 0.05 grade while by 2007 the diesel sold all over the country be of the 0.005 grade keeping with the quality of diesel sold in the US and the European Union.
