The Delhi Chief Minister, Ms Sheila Dikshit, today met the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, to discuss the situation arising out of the clean-up action and demolition of unauthorised buildings on the orders of the Delhi High Court. The Chief Minister called on the Prime Minister this morning and is understood to have briefed him on the issue of unauthorised constructions in Delhi, also presenting her case amidst divisions in the local party unit in Delhi regarding the demolitions being undertaken by MCD following a High Court order, sources said.
