Residents of Collem have protested over the heavy pollution caused due to dumping of mine ore close to residential houses. The residents pointed out that due to the deposition of mine ore which is done through trucks there is unbearable noise of trucks, cranes. They further pointed out that ever since the operation of dumping mine ore commenced locals here suffered from cold sinus, chestpain and headaches.
