Faced with embarrassment over its failure to complete the houses for the cyclone-affected people under the Indira Awas Yojna(IAY) before the monsoon due to shortage of building materials including the timber, the State government is likely to lift the restrictions imposed on the operation of saw mills in these areas for a temporary period.This was to deal with shortage of timber which had affected the construction of houses under the IAY.
