The Orissa Government has decided to liberalise the trade in minor forest produce so as to ensure competition and fair prices to tribals. As many as 60 items will be brought under the control of gram panchayats under the new policy and there will be no royalty, the Chief Minister, Mr. Naveen Patnaik, said last evening.
