More than 2,000 people have made false claims over inundated land resulting from construction of the Rasi Salai Dam across the Moon River in Thailand, senior energy officials said yesterday. The cabinet last year approved 363 million baht in compensation for people affected, under the umbrella of the Forum of the Poor, whose farmland has been submerged after the dam was built in 1992.
