The Tarakzai tribals of Peshawar have threatened to blow up the Warsak dam, cutting off electricity to the whole of Punjab province, if power supply is not immediately restored to their areas facing a blackout for quite some time now. The meeting demanded immediate restoration of power supply to the tribals, saying the dam has been allowed to be contructed in the area only on the condition that they will not be ever asked to pay electricity bills, nor would power supply meters be installed there.
