For the first time in the country, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board(KSPCB) has introduced a fleet of mobile vans called the Parisara Vahini(environment streams), in Bangalore, as part of a novel concept to educate drivers and vehicle owners about the importance of protecting the city's environs. The green brigade - Parisara Vahini - works day and night moving around the city informing the public about the need for preserving good air quality.
