Participants apprised of techniques of water conservation

Bhopal: On the last day of workshop on water conservation held in government Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya two technical sessions were held in which participants were apprised of various techniques of water conservation. Technical session speaker Ground Water advisor Sudhir Mohan Sharma delivered speech on the topic water for future. He explained in detail on the possible water crisis in the year 2025. He maintained that if water management and conservation is not done now than we would come in the category of nations facing water crisis. Regional Science Laboratory scientist Dr RK Ravle apprised of the water availability in various countries of the world and water crisis. He demonstrated the water conservation techniques adopted in those countries. He said that water management was the greatest need of the hour and stressed on need of recycling water. Third speaker of the session EPCO scientist Dr Sanjeev Sachdeva apprised of ways of conservation of Upper Lake and the harmful effects of pollution in it. Programme was conducted by Dr RS Raghuvanshi and Dr GP Singh expressed gratitude towards those present in the workshop.
