NEW DELHI: While they may be busy as the Assembly elections are drawing nearer, leaders of both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party here are putting in all their effort and energy in collecting and sending relief material for the flood victims of Bihar.
Along with the humanitarian aspect, both the parties also appear to be having an eye on the large vote bank that people hailing from the State constitute in Delhi. This has also boosted their efforts to collect dry rations and clothes for the flood victims. People are turning up in large numbers to donate for the relief work, both in cash and in kind.
Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has also appealed to the people to contribute
