An organisation called Seed Trust (Social, Education and Economic Development Trust) based at Tirupattur is involved in tribal welfare activities in 32 out of 264 villages scattered in the Javadh Hills.The Seed Trust, which was started in 1985 was set up to enable the rural people, especially the socio economically dis-advantaged groups, access to health, education and economic assistance to improve the quality of their lives.
