The Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Sripal Naik has advocated the need for planting more and more trees to maintain Goa green and said that "Paulonia" a new variety and one of world's fastest growing trees would be taken up for cultivation in mining areas under scheme of Central government. Mr Naik was all praises for Bharathi of Growmore Biotech Pvt Ltd, Hosur in Tamil Nadu for the pioneering work in developing the best done for India by tissue culture technique.
