The Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department has taken up a pilot project on drinking water supply in collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Commission (RGNDWC), to provide drinking water in the districts of Kamrup, JOrhat and Sonitpur, official sources at Guwahati said.
