The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has announced a number of measures to improve the condition of slum dwellers living in resettlement colonies besides schemes for the shelter less. These announcements were made by the Municipal Commissioner, Rakesh Mehta at the MCD Standing Committee meeting where he announced the revised budget estimates for the year 2002-2003 and budget estimates for 2003-2004 for Slum and JJ Department of civic body.
