Union Minister of State for Railways Bandaru Dattatreya promised to provide bigger platforms, elevators and other facilties at the Secunderabad railway station of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing a media conference he said afforestation would be taken up along the railway tracks in a big way. A survey would be conducted to take up afforestation along the route of the Multi-Modal Suburban Commuter Transport System.
