Shaken by the recent uprooting of hundreds of age-old trees across the Capital in a dust storm, the Delhi Government has finalised a "Replacement Policy for Trees". under this new plan, a second crop of trees would be created through "under-planting under-mature trees", well in advance to avoid treeless or blank spots at places which suffer damage due to various reasons.
