The Delhi Government has initiated an eight-pronged action plan to widen and strengthen all roads, including the national highways, to ease the commuting between the Capital and neighbouring towns in the region.Delhi Urban Development and PWD Minister A K Walia said a strategy had been chalked out to effectively tackle the problem of traffic congestion on roads keeping in view the fast increasing quantum of vehicles. "All the projects relating to widening of existing important roads are being implemented in a phased manner,' he said.
