Despite being embroiled in a blaming game, the three agencies responsible for ensuring a clean city of Dhaka have offered plans to fight pollution caused by nearly 2,50,000 black smoke-emitting vehicles to save lives of the capital's eight million people. The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) said it will set up modern equipment for checking vehicles before issuing fitness certificates to the vehicles.
