The government will launch a month long State wide tree plantation drive from August 17. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said this on Thursday after inaugurating the sprawling 10 acre, Rs 2.5 crore Jalagam Vengal Rao Park at Banjara Hills. The CM said on the first day, two crore saplings will be planted and within a month's time over 25 crore plants will be planted.
