The National Commission on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and other voluntary Organisation have demanded the intervention of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee against the move by the Ministry of Environment and Forests leading to the eviction of more than one crore forest dwellers including tribals from all over the country from the country from the forest land.
