Residents of Kherolai village, which witnessed five nuclear tests last May, received Rs 15 lakh as compensation for damage caused to their houses by the blasts.The amount was distributed equally among the 112 residents of the village, which is only two km from the site of nuclear testings in Pokhran sub-division in Jaisalmer district.
