Makadshew is a small stretch of rocky coast on the Arabian sea and adjoining the Polem beach on the borders of Goa. The coast is isolated, remote and surrounded by lush green forest cover and is frequented by anglers from Loliem and its adjoining regions. It was found that this coast had visitors from another community which obviously belonging to the timber smugglers from Karwar in neighbouring Karnataka.
