Prrovincial authorities in Thailand will seek cooperation from the Fourth Army Region and the Third Fleet to help crack down on trawlers using dragnets and pushnets to catch fish in restricted areas. Prapas Bunyindee, deputy governor of Phangnga, said cooperation from the two agencies is needed as some trawlers have resorted to violence in order to escape arrest.
