The Environment pollution (prevention and control) authority for Delhi is considering a proposal to introduce an integrated maintenance and inspection system and a fitness certification regime for automobiles on the road in Delhi to mitigate air pollution.Under the proposed integrated inspection and maintenance scheme, the vehicle owners would be required to keep their vehicles properly maintained.
