A team of five employees representing the Quality Circle Group of the Naval Dockyard here have achieved a breakthrough by designing and developing a system to effectively combat vehicular pollution. According to an official release on Wednesday the team, led by high skilled mechanic grade-I M Rama Rao, modified the exhaust system of the Shaktiman, a popular heavy vehicle of 3-tonne capacity extensively used by the three wings of the armed forces, by adopting indigenous techniques.
