Pollution protest in capital on June 5

Jamshedpur, June 1: Concerned over the rising level of air and water pollution, the Damodar Bachao Andolan Evam Jal Jagrukta Abhiyan would stage a massive dharna in front of the headquarters of Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) in Ranchi on June 5 coinciding with World Environment Day. Senior BJP leader Sarayu Roy, who would lead the agitation, today said that he was expecting a turnout of about 5000 people, including NGO representatives, political and social activists.
