Pollution test of vehicles has failed to achieve the desired result of improving Nepal's pollution level even after two years of implementation, traffic police officials say. The officials point out that lack of laws and regulations on vehicle emission is making their task more tricky. To add to the injury, some motor mechanics are tampering engines, helping the owners elude police in emission tests.
