South Korean steel giant Posco today pledged to provide jobs to all displaced families whose land has been acquired by the company for its 12 MT integrated steel plant in Orissa. "Posco India will provide employment to one member of all originally displaced families and also to all families who will lose their agricultural land, in accordance with the provision of the Orissa's New Relief and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006,' the company said. In addition, the company planned to provide vocational training to youth from displaced and affected families.
