The World bank-funded forestry scheme is creating more problems for villagers in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. Shramik Adivasi Sangathan convener Anurag Modi said authorities were digging trenches around forests thereby entirely cutting off villages within them.He said 500 families were affected due to the implementation of the scheme without proper notification.
