Childline, a project to help abused, exploited, homeless and all such children in distriess, was lunched at Jehangirpuri in north Delhi through a non-govenrnmental organisation, Prayas, on Friday. The project, sponsored by the Union ministry of social justice and empowerment and patronised by the National Human Rights Commission, will provide a toll-free telephone service on the number 1098 on which needy and distriessed children can seek help .
